FILE PREPARATION
· All files need to be proportional to finished size
(full size, percentage scale of full size, or 1 inch equals 1 foot)
· PHOTOSHOP CS3
· ILLUSTRATOR CS3
· INDESIGN CS3
· QUARK EXPRESS 6.0
• We are Macintosh-based. Files are preferred in native format, but can
be saved as an EPS or Tiff For PC users, best bet is to save as an EPS,
for accurate conversion to PC.
• If you don't want to e-mail your file, or use the .ftp site, we also accept
either CD or DVD burned media.
FONTS
• Please make sure all screen and printer fonts are included with job
or converted to outlines. Fonts need to be MAC based.
COLOR
• Please provide PMS numbers for critical colors. We match as close as possible with 4-color process.
• Please provide a color proof with each layout.
• Gradients should be designed in PhotoShop, for minimum stepping and banding.
RESOLUTION
·Billboards: Size to 9 dpi at full scale, 36 dpi at 1/4 scale.
· Large banners (over 8’ in any direction): we recommend
72 dpi, dpi can range from 25 dpi - 100 dpi.
· Small banners (under 8’): we recommend a range of
72 dpi - 150 dpi.
· Rigid UV printing: we recommend a range of 72 dpi -
150 dpi.
